It wasn’t necessarily meant to give off that people shouldn’t have friends, of course not (I hope it didn’t seem like that). It was more aimed to give an impartial balance of the benefits and drawbacks, judged on my current personal position in life and where I’m at right now.

Of course, having friends is amazing and I would never encourage anyone not to - but it’s just surprising that there is this weird sense of calm with being on your own.
